TO THE EDITOR. Sir,—l notico in your report of the Waipa County Council meeting of the loth inst., that Or. Smith moved and Cr. Atkinson seconded, that the expenses in connection with the late dog case Bettley v. Drury be pnii, Permit ma to ask Cr. Smith through your valuable columns to state what that amount is, so thatiother County ratepayers besides myself (who have been watching this matter), may have an idea how the rates are being disposed of.—l am, etc.. ' A Ratepayer.
