Prices were as follows ;—Dairy cows nt calving, or just calved, £3 2s <id to £4 10s; calves, mixed sexes, 27s (id to 325: a choice pen of 40 head ot well-Brown and in fresh condition reached €2 Is ; ono and a-half to two-year-old steers, from £2 5s to £3 10s, according to condition ; three and four-year-old turnip steers, in forward condition, £4-5.-4 to £5 12s; fresh cows and heifers, £2 15s to £3 ss; low-conditioned st'ire cows and heifers, £1 10s to £1 19s; fat cows nnd heifers, £u 12.< (id to £1 18s ; half and three-quarter-bred e\ve«, in lamb, 8s to 11s 4d ; empty ewes, 11s -Id ; lialf-hred lambs, (is 6'd. At llainilton, on Thursday, July 21st, on account of an extremely wet day, not many cattle m , sheep weie yarded, and but few liorse.s. Prices were similar to thnse obtained at Oliaupo. Orr's clearing sale on Wednesday last, and satisfactory prices were obtained throughout the day. At Hamilton, on Thursday last, very • few cattle were brought forward, owing no doubt to the wet weather.
