Thk two toll-gates and toll-houses erected yesterday at Ngahauranga were completely demolished last night by a crowd of about one hundred persons in spite of the fact that two policemen were told off to keep guard. One of the gates was thrown into the Ngalniuranga Creek and thir other into the harbour. Both toll-houses were wrecked, one being turned upside down and thrown into the creek and the other cast into the harbour.
