Tub Republican Committee of Congress propose that the reduction of the duty should be made to 11 cents per lb on clothing wools, to 12 cents on combing wools, to 3i cents on carpet wools of the value of 12 cents or less, and a reduction to 8 cents if of the value of over 12 cents, after giving manufacturers compensatfon of the dutv upon wools. The total revision of the tariff will involve a reduction of sixty million dollars.
