WOOL SALES.

(BY ELECTRIC TELEGRAPH.—COITHICHT). London, September 18. Tub wool sales opened to-day. Ten thousand bales were offered, but the wool was of inferior description, one-third coming from Now South Wales, and one-fifth from the Cape. The attendance was large, but the bidding irregular. Good Merino shows a higher tendency, but faulty sorts are weaker. Cross-breds underwent no change. The total amount available for the present series is 230,000 bales.
