Facilities are afforded for v isiting Te Aroha l»y excursion tram on Good Friday morning, and those who so desire it may visit Kllerslie racecourse on Monday, and rntum home same night. The excursion fiom nd will in all probability bring up a ! \rg<i number of Auckland people, in whose .;ye« Wnikato continues to grow in favour, is affording a complete and pleasant change of air and scene. Most of the churches will be decorated for Easter Simlay. Elaborate preparation* have been made for garnishing tho Church of S. Potcr, at Hamilton, and its interior is coiihlently expected to present a more beautiful aspect than it has ever yet done. On Saturday evening a sofnewhat novel kind of entertainment will -bo provided m the Hamilton Public Hall, the object being to raise funds for the reduction of the debt on the Wesley*n parsonage. There will be a sale of fancy work, an elaborate Easter Tree, with selections of vocal and instrumental music. Admission will be free, and the committee express a desire to see a thousand visitors.
