AUCKLAND HOSPITAL AND CHARITABLE AID BOARD.

At the meeting of the Auckland Board tonight, Mr Lake's motion for the separation of the Counties of Waikato, Waip», and Raglan, and the Borough of Hamilton, from the Auckland district for the purposes of hospitals and charitable aid was carried, Messrs Kidd (Auckland City), Suiter (Newmarket), Mays (Waitemata), and VVilkinson (Manukau), dissenting.
The Rangiaohia Road Board invite tenders for various road works. Mr J. R. Randcrson, land and general auctioneer, Auckland, inserts a business notice in tbii issue. Entries for Mr J. AllwtH's prizes for yearlings by Ronnie Prince and Feve, must be m'de with Mr John McNicol, before 5 p.m., 10th May. Teaders are invited by the Waipa County Council, works at Mangaoboi creek, near Giffords. Messrs W. J. Hunter k Co. will sell at the Cambridge Horse Yards on Thursday next, 32 ridin? and harness horses overland from Mohaka, Hawke's Bay. Mr J. S. Huckland has received instructions from Mr J. R.S Richardson, who is leaving for England, to sell on his farm near Fencourt, on Wednesday, May 12th, the whole of his splendid stock of horses, rattle, implements. All persons interested in the estate of Frieda Hooper, widow, late of Hamilton, deceased, either as debtors or creditors, arc directed to an advertisement in another column.
