ANOTHER FIRE AT HAMILTON EAST.
On Tueiday morning at about one o'clock, Mr Kerry, who occupies several sections of domain lands adjoining the property of Mr Hibgaine, Hamilton East, was awoke by hearing the noise of a fire, and looking out he caw his wool-shed in flames. He did not go out at once, fearing, so he says, that snino incendiary was about, and when he did he first procured tho assistance of wmc neighbours. Tho &hcd, which was valued ftt about £20, and was unin-uied, was totally destroyed, together with its. contents, which were not, however, very valuable* Mr Kerry had a policy on thu building some time ago, but he allowed it to lapse. It will be remembered that Mr Hibgume'a house was destroyed by fire a few days previously. No reasonable cause has been yet assigned for either fire, and the police have, as far as we know, no reason to suspect foul play.
