LATEST TE AROHA NEWS. [BY TELEGRAPH.— OWN CORRESPONDENT.]

Te Aroha, Friday Night. There is no fresh mining news of any importance to-day. Steady work hasbeen the order of the week. The low level cross-cut for the New Find No. 2 reef is now in about 90 feet. At 200 feet the reef is expected to be cut, and should the ground continue as favourable for driving as it has been, another month should see it in hand. Very great interest is being taken in the driving of this adit, as it will be the lowest level on the field. The battery continues steadily crushing for the New Find, Colonist and Premier. The 13 extra berdans just put up will be set in motion on Monday. The weather h extremely wet and wintry, heavy rain having fallen all last night and to-day.
