OXFORD JOCKEY CLUB RACES.
The following nominations have been received by Mr 1 Kirkwrtod for 'these' races, which take place on Boxing 1 I)ay :-r Mvidkn Pr.VTK.— Quilp, Flying Mary, Whalebone, Snake, Joe and Bull's Eve. Hunuj,Ks.— Quilp, Old Ireland, Whalebone and Chanticleer. j Cup.— Flying Mary, Larry, Snake and Joe. - ', As the amounts' of rthe respective prizes* ' have not as yet been published, owners of • horses have been somewhat backward in entering,' otherwise the fields, we have little doubt, would have been considerably larger. As it is, we think they are fairly encouraging', and should attract a large attendance of the public. Though Saturday night last was the advertised time for dosing the entries, we understand there is every possibility of the time being extended till next Saturday, in order to afford tho club an opportunity of publishing the money.
