MANGAPIKO AND RANGIAOHIA LICENSING BENCHES. Serious Complaints.
Thk usual quarteily meetings of the abo\e benches were held on Tuesday last, at Alc\:indra and To Awamutu, respectively. """Of the formoi theie weie piesent : Cis. J. D. Hill, Aubiii, A. S. Hill, Hudson and Liiing ; and of the latter theie were present : Crs. Taylor, Stoiey, Paiker and Hutchinson. A complaint was made before the Mangapiko Bench against the hotel of Mr P. Council, at Alevuuha, for the manner in which it was conducted. The bench decided lo give the licensee the ensuing quarter to dispose of his interest in the hotel, and if he did not succeed in doing so within that time, his license should be cancelled at the next meeting. A complaint %\ as made against Mr Miller, the licensee of an hotel at Kihikihi, on the giound of the hotel not being propeily conducted. The bench decided to give Mr Miller another quaiter, and if he did not conduct his house properly within that time, the licence to be cancelled at the ne\t meeting.
