At the Ohaupo live stock sale on Tuesday List a large number of cattle were yarded, but the attendance of buyers was small, and a great number of stock were reserved and passed. Prices were lower than for several months past ; buyers arc evidently waiting for the cattle fair to be held on the nth October, when upwaids of 700 head will be yarded. Fat sheep sold at full values. Longwoolled ewes and wethers were sold at 15s 3d, and wethers 16s and 17s each.
