Horse Sale. Auckland, Last Night. At Messrs Huuter and Nolans sale today Harkawuy was offered, and trussed at £100. The Wade Perjury Case.

The Wade conspiracy and perjury cases have been adjourned till after the sessions of the Supreme Court. Resignation of the Manager of the Union Bank.

Mr Pounds, manager of the Union Bank, ha* resigned to jom a large southern firm.

The Reclamation Works.

The Government have instructed Mr Fallon, contractor, to proceed with the reclamation works along Custom House street. Mr Jakin's claims for compensation for depiivation of water frontage by the reclamation came before the Oouit to-day. It was intimated that other claims would probably follow. The case was adjourned to give the Minister for Fuhhc Works a chance of making an offer.

Remuera Land and Building Company.

At the annual meeting to-day the repoit showed that bixty-eight acres had been sold at a profit of £1500. A dividend of five per cent. "\va& declared.

Seventy men applied for enrolment in the Armed Constabulary to-day, but Major Withers only enrolled twelve, pending further instructions from Government.
