After a further adjournment,' Mangakahia applied to have the Court Adjourned till next day. X ( With the concurrence of Mr Sheehan, this was granted.

In the Native Lands/ Court to-day, Muihi te Rangikaheki and Arekatcra and other influential { Ro.toru'a natives piotested against the" outrage committed at Horahora on Tuesday, and counselled the natives present %o discountenance all such proceedingsj and contended that no good could result therefrom either to Maori or European. The, ' Native Lands Court proceedings were protracted, no arrangements having bean effected with the objectors.
