Revival in the Sharemarket. Auckland, Last Night.
A considerable amount of business has been done on 'Change to-day in mining stocks. Kuranui's opened at 21s and closed at 17.S ; Caledonians sold at 40s in consequence of the report of gold being obtained in new winze. A parcel of specimens from Kuranui has been brought up from the Thames, and are on view at the company's office. A telegram from the manager of the Union Beach this afternoon states that gold has been struck in the low level, and caused demand for shares. There were several buyers at 0s aud 1 0s. There has been a steady inquiry for Golden Calfs', which were quitted from Ts to 9a.
