■ '- INVERCARGILL TROTS. The Invercargill Trotting Club's meeting on Saturday was well attended. The weather was overcast, but fine, the course was in good order and fast times were registered. The gates totalled £448 18s, an increase of £l2 5s on last year. The totalisator handled £17,740 IDs—an increase of £ll4l 10s on last year's total. When Gay Lady returned to the enclosure after winning the Visitors' Handicap there was a slight demonstration on the part of a email section of the crowd.
