BIRCHWOOD HUNT
Wednesday afternoon ■, turned out extremely boisterous for the- meet of the hounds on the racecourse at Riverton. The hunt took the form of a qualifying ruri for a number of horses which have engagements at race meetings, and these were in attendance, and some good jumping wa s witnessed.
The Huntsman was mounted _on Silvery and the Whip on Lady Chicken. The horses qualifying were French Fleet, West Dome, Kuku, Tunamoe, Squatter, Naghue, Nagambiet, Wairio and a Balboa Filly. *
