The first round of the Championships was played on Wednesday, and resulted as follows : —A. GRADE—
Rouse beat Jordan 0 and 5. Dr Kingston beat McKinnon 7 andO Willett beat McNeil 2 up. Instone defaulted to Berndtson. In the semi-final Dr Kingston plays Willteo. and Rouse plays Berndtson. —B. GRADE.—
Moftitt beat- Black 2 up. Moffit-t will play Birch for final of B. grade.
