A general committer irect'ing of the aboJve was held ini Foster's Hall Thornbury on May 4th,,the following members being prosent, President, ;Vlice- J President, Messrs Weir, Haywood, Willet.t, -Ronald, C. Foster, K. Officer, J. S. Brown, .las. Ha>miKon, R. Foster and B. Hancock. It was decided to send a letter tof sympathy to family of the late John Playfair. It was rescJved to hold the annual -—winter show at Riverton on Wednesday, .June lOt'h.

•A letter was received from Mr H. B. Philp aio entry money and rrize ■money for poultry section. The suffgest&ms contained in the letter are to bo carried out.

A revising committee was elected, also the necessary office-bearers for carrying out the show. The building for holding l , the show in was left in the hands of the revising committee. It was decided to call tenders for tease of section at Thorn-bury for a lerm of seven shears.
