A burglar entered Mr J. B. Teasdale's premises in Brougham street, Wellington, last night at midnight. Mr Teasdale's wife woke Win saying that was near her hand, and had a She rtwted on the electric .switch that was near her hand, and gad a momentary glimpse of a retreating man stoutly built. When Mr Tvasdak> opened his eyes ho saw the door closing. He promptly jumped out of bod and ran into the passage, switching on all the lights as he went but not a sight of the intruder did he get. The miscreant got safely away. He had been disturbed sioOn enough to prevent him from taking any valuables.
