ANNUAL MEETING OTAUTAU HACK CLUB.
The annual meeting of tbe above club took place in the Town Hall on TuescUy, Mr E. Sweetman being in the chair. The annual balance-sheet waa read, and this showed the hand* some credit balance of £55 8s 4d with which to commence the new year. Tbe election of office-bearers resulted as follows :—President Mr Gfillett, vicepresidents Messrs R. Sweetman, W. Affleck, John Swap, R. -W-hittaker f and J. Smith, jnr. Secretary Mr Q-. Ross. Treasurer Mr John Swap. After conducting some routine iness, tbe meeting adjourned until to-morrow evening (Saturday), when the general committee will be selected, and the course to be adopted with regard to the races and sports decided upon.
