The German Imperial yacht ITohcniiollern was escorted to the British coast by the Channel fleet, which thundered forth a royal salute, on the conclusion of which the Emperor sienalled for the Admiral and captains to visit him aboard the yacht. The Princo of Wales and Dukes of Clarence, Oonnauehtand Edinburgh wore German uniforms. At Windsor railway station, which was ablaze with German colours, the Empress was presented with a bouquet of English roses. The whole town was decorated. A public procession took place, those taking part in it wearing cornflowers in their bn* ton holes. The Imperial party were greeted at the Castle by the English princesses. Tho military spectacle was most brilliant. On the visitors entering tho Palace they were embraced by the Queen, and afterwards dined with the Royal Family. Tho Press of Britain and Germany write in congi atuatovy terms of the visit. The former lay special stress on it as a domestic visit, bat tho latter regard it as a national one, and further state that tho Powers inimical to the Triple Alliance are also a menace to Britain.
