B.S.A. PEACE PLEDGE
ASSISTANCE TO WAK SUFFERERS
A peace pledge was adopted at a recent meeting of the executive of the Christchurch branch of the R.S.A. when miemlbers carried a riesolution that they would continue the task of assisting those who were still suffering from the effects of the war and eco-
nomio depression. The resolution, notice of which had been given by the Rev. F. T. Read, continued: —“Having a (personal experience of all that war means, w.e will do all in our power to .promote peace and goodwill. We greatly appreciate the efforts of the Imperial Government in seeking to preserwe European (peace and better relations between Italy and Abyssinia, and trust that the League of Nations will come through the present crisis stronger than ever.”
