WHEELBARROW JOURNEY AUCKLANDER’S ENTERPRISE (Per Press Association). AUCKLAND, Last Night. Determined to raise funds which will allow him to build a vessel to carry him to the Holy Land, Mr. Lawrence Beavis, builder of the “Gospel ship,” which was destroyed ' by fire early this year, set off yesterday to walk to Wellington pushing a wheelbarrow. He hopes to cover twelve miles a day and to reach the capital city in seven weeks.
