In Taranaki Province BELIEVED FROM WELLINGTON STOLE A SECOND CAR I Per Press Association) NEW PLYMOUTH, This Day. Thiev-eis were active in Wattara yesterday. A ear stolen in Wellington two ■days ago was recovered, then a garage was broken into and another .-ar stolen, also a quantity of <petrol and money taken. The police connect all thes-e- events, and are carrying out investigations. It is believed that the thieves came to Taranaki from Wellington in a stolen ear owned by the Petrous Tyre Co., Miramar, and ithat it crashed into a telegraph pole on a hill near New Plymouth, being then abandoned. Thereafter the thieves apparently walked to Waitaria, about a mile distant, where the other theft was committed. ■)
