SYDNEY SALE GOOD COMPETITION SYDNEY, March IS. At the wool sale 12,242 bales were offered and 11,326 sold; also 1355 privately. There was strong competition from Japan and Yorkshire and good support from the Continent. The market generally was firm. Greasy Merino made 15 l-4d. The average price of wool last week ini Sydney was £ll 12/8 a bale or 9.4 d a lb.
