MUSSOLINI’S VIEWPOINT FULL PARITY FAVOURED LONDON, January 13. “I favour allowing Germany full defensive parity,” declared Signor Mussolini, ina special interview with Mr Ward Price on behalf of the “Daily Mail.” Signor Mussolini added that since the Western Powers have formally recognised Geripany’s moral right to equality, it is impossible to deny the logical strength of her demand for the right to equip herself with defensive armaments. Ee believes that Herr Hitler is making a sincere effort to divert the military energies of German youth to purposes; of peaceful internal reconstruction. Regarding the proposed League of Nations reforms, Signor Mussolini explicitly denied all desire to bully dr override smaller States.
