IN QUEST FOB WAPITI A FINE SIXTEEN-POINTER INVERCARGILL, Last Night. After five weeks spent in Glaishock Valley, Te Anau, Messrs Nitz brothers, the well-known Wairarapa sportsmen, have emerged with a magnificent trophy of their quest for wapiti. They were handicapped by bad weather, but the discomfort was forgotten when they brought down a sixteen-pointer. The head is one of the finest that have been secured. It measured 58 inches in length and has a spread of 50 inches. The reported that wapiti were fairly plentiful and in good condition.
