TRADE RELATIONS

Australia and N.Z. SENATOR GREENE’S VISIT THE ACTUAL NEGOTIATIONS (Per Press Association) WELLINGTON, This Day. Senator Greene to-day conferred with the Prime Minister (Hon. G. W. Forbes) and the Minister of Finance (Rt. Hon. J. G. Coates) and the Minister of Industries and Commerce (Hon. R. Masters), but it is understood that the discussion was more or less general in nature. It is expected that a start will be made to-morrow with the actual negotiations. The principal representative for New Zealand will be Mr. Coates. , Naturally the embargo on Australian fruit and vegetables will be one of the main points for consideration, but in view of the fact that Australia is revising the tariff and the Dominion is also about to undertake a similar task it would appear that the \Hiole of the trade relations between the two countries will be investigated.
