AUSTRALIAN RACING N.Z. HORSES ENGAGED SYDNEY, Last Night. The nominations of First Acre and Bay Acre for the Rosehill meeting on April 1 have been received here by cable from New Zealand. Red Sun and Sage have arrived from New Zealand and arc going on to Melbourne. Peter Pan to-day was scratched for the Sydncv Cup, for which ho was weighted at nine stone, which is regarded as a severe task for a three-year-old. Nightingale, on Monday, March 27, at 8 p.m., at Waipukurau. TWO LOCAL HORSES Bruce McKay has set Freehold going again. The brother to Tamatete shows conclusively that the relaxation from toil has done him a deal of good. He has been a great disappointment., showing attractively in his rehearsals but failing badly when pursuing the stake money. McKay also has in hand Good Cheer, who has been on the retired list for some time. . She has built; up considerably since last seen out.
