INTENSE ANTI-CYCLONE COVERS NEW ZEALAND (Per Press Association) CHRISTCHURCH, This Day. The general inference is that an intense anti cyclone covers New Zealand, hut. a low pressure disturbance is centred north of Norfolk Island. The forecast is for light to moderate and variable winds, with easterlies preva ilin g—th on f reshon in g. Tn the north the weather is mainly fair but some rain is developing between Hawke’s Bay and East Capo, especially on the high levels; seas moderate to rather rough.
