THE LONDON PROSPECTS DECLINE IN CROSSBREDS Dalgety and Company report that tho following information has been received from their London office regarding the prospects for the sales opening on March 14: —March sales prospects arc: Merinos, steady market. Fine crossbreds, expect that if any change in prices takes place it will be in favour of buyers. Alodium and coarse crossbreds may be 10 per cent, lower. American crisis may react on the exchange position, which at. present, is obscure. This message confirms that received at the week-end by the Bank of New Zealand, produce department. which said it was expected that fine crossbreds and merinos would be par to a halfpenny lower; medium and coarse crossbreds were expected to be a halfpenny lower. BRADFORD TOPS FIRMER BRADFORD. Ala reh 0. The Bradford tops market is hardening, although not much business is reported. SYDNEY VALUES YORKSHIRE AND .JAPAN ACTIVE SYDNEY, Last. Night. At the wool sales to-day 9140 bales were offered, of which 8576 were sold at auction, 754 bales being disposed of privately. Yorkshire and Japanese buyers gave active support to the market, which was still fully firm for all descriptions. Greasy merino made up to 221 d.
