A depression consisting of several separate waves has been moving on to the Dominion during the week-end. It is rather deep and has a good northward extension, thus favouring widespread rain. Pressure is rising slowly in eastern Australia. The forecast is for fresh to strong north-west winds; weather changeable and unsettled with rain at times; seas moderate.
