ACCIIIENTA L J)R( >WNIXG INQUEST AT AAVAHURI PALMERSTON NORTH, Jan. 25. A verdict of accidental drowning was returned by the district coroner, Mr. E. Goodbehere, at Awahuri yesterday when an inquest was held into the circumstances surrounding the death of Edward Webster, farm employee, aged 38 years, who was drowned at Tangimoana on Sunday. Mr. Bask said he had seen Mr. AVebster standing in water up to his knees, but on looking around again he noticed he had disappeared. AA itness swam to the spot where he saw Air. AVebster coming up, but the undercurrent was too strong for him to do anything. In delivering his verdict ,the coroner commented on the danger of bathing on certain portions of the Tangimoana beach.
