Post Office Busy

Owing to the almost universal failing of procrastination, the meal post office staff was exceptionally busy today, which was the last opportunity afforded, without penalty, for the payment of unemployment levies and taxes, also the registration of motor vehicles in use. The rush work was further increased owing to the fact that income-tax returns must be completed by to-morrow and forms were being belatedly applied for. As far as motor registration is concerned, it is understood that, of the 600 vehicles in use last year, only about 300 had been re-rcgistcrcd up till last night.
