CHRISTCHURCH, This Day.

,'William Henry Lang (38) married, died in hospital on Saturday. He was a volunteer tramway worker during the recent strike, and was admitted to hospital last week, suffering from injury, which, it is alleged he suffered during a fracas at Lancaster Park on May 7.

A post-mortem examination was ordered at the inquest held on Saturday and police action will depend on the finding./

Police reports say that Lang received a severe blow on the nose and inflammation set in.

Meanwhile inquiries are being made.
