Parachute Descent

This afternoon in Waipukurau an exhibition of stunt flying was given by Squadron. Leader McGtregor. The manner in which this intrepid airman handled his plane was nothing short of marvellous and the crowd that had gathered at Svensen’s paddock, were thrilled by his exhibition. Reservoir Hill and other points of vantage in the town were made use of by a number of people. At 3 p.m. Pilot-officer Scotty” Fraser made a parachute descent from the plane, the first “jump” to be seen in Waipukurau.
