N APIER-PUTORINO LINE PUBLIC WORKS TRAIN TO RUN The Government has agreed to do final repairs on the Napier-Putorino line, according to advice received from Mr. H. M. Campbell, M.P. Hawke’s Bay). Mr. Campbell has sent us the following telegram: — “I have just got the Government to agree to doing final repairs on the line from Napier to Putorino. As soon as completed a Public Works train service will be run on that line carrying goods and stock. This will be of great benefit to settlers north of Napier.’’
