Over-Production Controversy
Mr Henry Ford’s remark that there could never be over-production until evey Chinese owned an automobile, was quoted by Mr J. A. Brailsford, lecturing before the Wanganui W.E.A. recently. The lecturer said that overproduction of a particular thing at any one time often iccurred, but to talk of general over-p: duetion as the cause of the depression was simply to admit that our system of exchange and distribution had failed.
