Fire in Auckland
HEAVY LOSS OF TYRES (Per Press Association.) AUCKLAND, To-day. Early this morning a fire occurred near the premises of Carter Bros., garage proprietors, Mt. Eden Road, originating in rubbish near a large heap of motor tyres, of the value of £7OO, all of which were destroyed. Oil and benzine added to the conflagration, but the Brigade saved the main building.
