FIRE IN JAPAN.
SERIOUS LOSSES.
TOKIO, April 21.
A fire swept the town of Kanazawa, in the Ishikawa province. Owing to the high wind, 1000 houses were destroyed. The damage is estimated at 5,000,000. It is feared that there wore many casualties.
