WELCOMING ROYAL GUESTS

FOUR LIVES LOST.

MELBOURNE, Thursday.

As the Royal procession was entering the grounds of the Federal Government House, two aeroplanes, which were participating in the aerial welcome to the Royal visitors, collided, and both-crashed to the ground, killing the four occupants. Both machines were smashed immediately, and burst into flames.
