DISTRICT DIGESTS
- The monthly meeting of the Central Hawke/s Bay Electric Power Board is to be held on Wednesday next. The Waipukurau County Council is to meet to-morrow morning and the Patangata County Council on Tuesday. The next 'meeting of the Patangata County Council will be held in the County Office, Waipukurau on Tuesday next. During the visit of the Hon. Air Young, Alinister of Health, to the district Air L. Pratley interviewed him to urge the appointment of a permanent nurse to take charge of the dental clinic at Waipawa. He presented the Alinister with a sketch plan showing that if such an appointment were made the. children attending fifteen country .schools would be able to avail themselvcs of the nurse’s services. Air’ Young promised tp give the matter consideration when the' allocation of the next draft of dental trainees is made.
