N.Z. LEAGUE TROUBLES.

AUCKLAND, November 5.

The managers of the Now r Zealand League team have advised the Now Zealand Council that four forwards w'crc ordered to return to th^Dominion for refusing to play, and that following this command three other players expressed a wish to return also. Those seven men have not played since the first test match.

The New Zealand Council lias instructed the English League to intervene on its behalf, and it will abide by any decision reached. In its latest advice, the English League predicts an early settlement.
