CHARGE DISMISSED.

NEW PLYMOUTH, This Day.

In the Magistrate’s Court this morning, a charge as to intimidation of a wharf labourer named Simpson, laid against Robert Fulton, secretary of the Watersiders’ Union, was dismissed. The Magistrate held that the laws required proof of a threat of personal violence, wihch was not forthcoming. The case, which was heard on the 21st inst., arose through Simpson assisting to get the Port Dunedin away.
