In the Senate during a discussion on the Lusitania outrage several Senatois urged a campaign ot retaliation, including the seizure ot German property. It was stated that several Melbourne blocks were owned by German companies. Guo in Collins street belonged to a company in which the Kaiser was the chief shareholder.
