Messrs Dalgety and Co., Ltd., report on their sale yesterday as follows Stock came forward in excess of advertised numbers, and practically every entry was sold at auction. Prices were about on a par with former sales, and we quote : Sheep: Mixed lambs 6s 5d to 8s 4d, 2 and 4th wethers 10s 6d to 11s, sound-mouth ewes in lamb 9s 6d, 10s 2d, 10s lOd, 11s 6d, and a special good line brought 13s 3d. Cattle: 20mos steers ,£3, 2yr steers £3 6s to J 3 11s, 15mps steers (good colors) to £2 Bs, wcaner steers 365, weaner heifers 18s, empty cows £2 18s to £8 6s, spring cows £2 10s to £3 6s, fat and forward cows £3 6s to £3 18s, Messrs Abraham and Williams reportWe only had a fair yarding of sheep and a small yarding of cattle submitted to a good 'attendance of buyers Prices for all classes of stock were quite up to late rates. We quote: Sound-mouth ewes in lamb 11s 3d to 11s 6d, fullmouth ewes in lamb 9s, 2th wethers (small) 9s 3d to 9s 6d, store ewes 6s lod v shorn, lambs -6s 6d to 8s 3d, wether lambs. 8s Bd, light fat heifers £3 ss, cows in calf 37s to £3, store cows 26s to £2 ss, heifers in calf £3, Weaners 12s.
