{Special io Examiner.) Danevikke, This Day. The above Hoard hold its annual meeting on Thursday evening, when Messrs Allardice (chairman), Maekay, and Fraser were present. A resolution was proposed by Mr Fraser that sundry works required in the town bo carried out. Seconded by Mr Maekay and carried. Mr Fraser drew attention to the state of the roads and footpaths through {hg town, and proposed that a man be put on to dean the same froiu Pepnehy’s corner to AUardiee’s cprper,—Seconded by Mr Maekay and carried, Mr Maekay referred to the state of the water-tables and culverts, and that something ought to be done, as_ all the storm water from the town ran into Mr Wells’ property,—Left in the hand? of the Chairman to arrange, This was all the business.
