F. E. JACKSON’S JOHNSONVILLE SALE. (Special in Examiner.) [by telegraph.] Wellington, This Day. Beef came forward in moderate supply. The cattle varied greatly in quality, but neat and prime bullocks mot with an appreciative market at fully 17s the lOOlbs. Largo framed cattle of a coarse description, and those again but indifferently fatted sold at about 15s throughout. Sheep in average supply. Fat wethers were well competed for, aged ewes dull of sale, lambs of light to medium quality sold freely at quotations. Pigs numerous. Stores were in good demand, largo pigs, porkers, were dull of gale, and ruled at low values. Cattle—Best bullocks 17 2s (id to 17 10s; others, 16 2s 6d to 16 15s; light and indifferent, 15 to 15 17s 6d.
Sheep—Prime wethers, 15s Gd ; light, l‘2s to 12s 6d; ewes, 10s to Pis 6d; lambs, 8s to 8s 6d.
Pigs—Bnconors, 25s to 275; large porkers, 21s to 29s ; smaller, 15s to 17s; stores 10s to 13s 3d; slips, 7s to 7a 3d.
