Outwards : — Messrs lionet, Goodwin, Taylor, Mrs M* Michael and infant, Mr and Mrs Riley ; 11 original for San Francisco, and 13 for Northern ports. The s.s. Phoebe, Captain Worsp, arrived at Otago on Sunday last, from Lyttelton. She will leave Port Chalmers on Wednesday next, and will be duo here, on the 10th insfc. Tho SB. Wellington, Captain Kennedy, Bailed yesterday afternoon for tho South, with a fair number of passengers. The 8.3. Taranaki, heuce, arrived at Nelson On Sunday morning lash, and left Nelson last night for Tavanaki and Manakau, carrying tho "West Coast niaita for transhipment per p.s. Nevada. The Victorian Ministor of Public Works accepted on Wednesday a tender of Lunglands' Foundry Company for the construction of n caisson for the Alfred Graving Dock. The amount of the tender was £11,300. Six offers for the work were received by the department, three from Great Britain and three from Melbourne firms.
